Life is still changing in 2012

Wow it doesn't seem like it is about to be two years since my life took a turn. There has been mountains and valleys, but the one thing I can say for sure "My GOD is faithful" He has stood beside me and at times carried me when I couldn't walk. I feel that each step I have grown and shed somethings out of my life. I thought about starting a new Blog or changing this one since I am leaving my past behind, but "Country Romance" is still me...the house might change, the decor may change, but the heart hasn't. I am me and that will not change. I go back to court Feb. 15th...I am so ready to complete this chapter of my life and move on.
I thank all of you that have been there as I traveled this road.Welcome 2012...time for change.

  1. WOW...YOU are gorgeous! I have wondered where your life had taken you. Looks like you have made some major changes. You are beautiful and you deserve all the good things that are happening in your life! I can't believe you are still dealing with the legal issues. Honey, hopefully soon that will all be over and you can move on for good! I am so proud of you and I know you are proud of yourself, as you should be! This year will be a good one for you, I'm sure of it!

  3. Brenda, you look fabulous! I've followed your story for the past couple of years and can completely relate. Your story is very similar to mine but my ex walked out in 1993...thought my life was over, etc etc etc. When I emerged from my grief about 5 years later, I got on the fast track to take care of myself. Never dated because I worked for a divorce lawyer and been through a messy divorce so wasn't interested in dating at all. Then in 2001 I met the most wonderful man (God sent) and in 2003 we married...AND I'm 12 years younger than he is!! Anyway, my thoughts will be with you on your court date (I still work as a legal secretary doing domestic relations work). I don't know all the details of your situation but I will pray that things turn out in your favor. You are a strong woman and will survive!

    xoxo,
    Judy
