My good friend Suzie Q at http://rabbitruncottage.blogspot.com/ had a beautiful blog this week and sure got me hungry for some summer favorites. The question was ask "a favorite summer treat" my mind went back to the wonderful days of summer as a child. I loved when dads garden came in and the produce was fresh,but the best things was a "good old Tomato sandwich" Yep I said Tomato sandwich. No meat needed when the wonderful flavor of the Tomato mixed with some yummy mayonnaise.Some people would consider this a poor mans sandwich,but to me it was rich...rich in flavor and rich in love.Today it is still one of my favorites and brings back so many memories. Thanks Suzie for reminding me just how blessed we are to be able to have the special things of summer.
