Still looking for a chandelier for above the tub to finish the "Face Lift"
On my master bath.
For me it has been busy. When I went to visit my daughter in Florida I stopped by Old Time Pottery for some retail therapy. I just love that place and what great prices. Good prices are what I'm always looking for and since I am having to buy things on my own now I really watch it.
The day I went to Old Time Pottery I was thinking about my bathroom...it is in good shape and I still love my wall paper, but wanted to give it a "Face Lift" I usually wouldn't do shells and beachy, but being at Aprils and her Condo being done in this style just had a soft cozy feel so I thought why not add a few pieces. I was happy to find the shell picture in the colors to match my paper for the wonderful price of $12.99 YES I did say $12.99 and it doesn't look cheap at all. It is in a beautiful frame. I picked up most of the things there that day and it all came together.
There is only one thing missing and I am looking for that now and I will be done. That would be to take down the light above the tub and add a Chandelier.I always wanted that, but someone wouldn't let me...I guess I can do it now."smile" it will be nice when I'm soaking in my tub.
I envy your decorating skills. Everything looks beautiful. And I LOVE the chandeliers, especially the first one. I would look beautiful over your tub.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, a chandelier over your bathtub would look perfect!! Isn't it wonderful when you don't have to ask permission to do something like that? hehe I just love your washroom, it's so beautiful and everything you bought fits right in perfectly. Mine needs a complete renovation and although I was promised it would be done 8 years ago it's still the same as it was in the 70's! lol xoxo
