Well, I'm here again...I know I'm like a storm I blow in and out. The last year of my life has been a storm,but I'm thankful to my God and family that I am a over comer in Christ.This month it will be a year since my husband of 27 years walked out of my life.It has been a very different road.I went from wife,mommy and Nana to BRENDA.For all those years all that mattered was what I needed to be for my family,but now it is what can I do to make me better. Oh yes I still love and adore my children and grands,but learning to live for me.
I know I have over come much and will each day as I take new steps.I hope to get back to my blog..I'm sure it will be different as things have changed,but i still have my love for cooking and decorating just a small twist.

This is a woman's conference I attended with my beautiful daughter in Florida. Yes i have been a christian for years,but the last year has been a struggle. After serving God beside my husband and then finding out what I have after he left life changed. It was time to focus on filling me again....remembering what God called me to as an individual and learning to walk in it as a single person.
Eating natural and Organic is something I have been working on...love the Whole food stores. One of my newest and sweet friends family has a health food store here. I have always loved the natural way,but just now started back and it feels great.
Yes ladies I did get my nose pierced and it hurt BAD...I guess after 46 years it is okay to do something crazy. I promise as SOON as I can get this stud out I will have a TINY stone that you can barley see.
Hi Brenda it is so good to "see" you!! I am so happy you are finding yourself and that God has brought you thru a very rough time in your life, and you have grown closer to Him! I got my nose pierced last March, and I LOVE it! I have a small diamond stone and I just think its so cute and hardly noticeable unless you are up close. You look wonderful, I too am on a whole new life change in my eating, learning to eat wholesome organic foods it just makes you feel better. God Bless you and hope to hear from you real soon!~hugs~
