Ready to RUN to a new adventure

Ready to run....Wow is this crazy? Last year at this time if you all remember I was a married woman that was recovering from surgery. Never in a thousand years would I have thought I would be separated and starting new adventures in my life a year later. God always has a plain for us when we don't even see it.
Above is my friend Ashley and I getting ready to hit the track. Ashley has been my hairdresser for years. I lost contact with her,but a month ago God brought us back together. Ashley had and is still going threw some hard times in her life and we needed each other. About two years ago Ashley was running half marathons and life brought her down. If there is one thing I have learned in the last year is Satan tries to destroy. The other thing I have learned is he WILL NOT destroy me.I have dreams that I had for years and now the adventure takes place. I think this started when my baby girl April used to run Cross Country.I loved getting up on Saturday mornings and traveling to watch her and see the determination these runners had.I just knew that time had passed for me,but I could dream for my daughter. WELL....today I dream for me.
Ashley is a great trainer and we have started working together. The last two days I did the mile with no stopping. My goal is to reach the 5K runs and travel for the causes. This will be something to accomplish and also meet many new friends.
ALWAYS DREAM BIG and NEVER SAY NEVER

I'm in LOVE with my new shoes...Reebok Easy Tone. Ladies if you walk or run this is a must. They are so comfortable and they also build your muscles and buns. I hope the photo above doesn't offend anyone, but it just made me smile. This photo was taken at the opening for the new shoe. You may have to be a runner to get it,but I see one in my future.
