Happy Veterans Day

Today as we show are thanks to all the men and woman that have fought for our freedom I want to say thank you! Thanks to all of you that have loved ones that have served.
Today I would like for you to meet my solider Rian Eason. Rian is the first born son to my husband and I.
Rian is such a blessing and has always been to our family. Rian is such a miracle that we knew God had a special calling for him since birth.
Rian loves life and takes each day to make the most of it. Rian is so talented and caring. He has always been my baby. When most moms have a little girl in her kitchen by her side I had Rian. From the time Rian was a small child he loved cooking.Out of High school Rian continued his career as a Chef. After losing his bakery to hurricane Katrina Rian joined the USAF.
He has served his country with all of his heart and we are so proud him.
These are a few photos we took on a trip to see Rian before he shipped out.He loves the Amish life so we got a home on a working farm. Here he is fishing in the pond.

This is our trip to see Rian when he returned from his first deployment, but was getting ready for a second one. The smile on my face would fade as each day passed knowing I would walk away and say goodbye not only to leave him in NJ,but to send him back to fight for our FREEDOM!
This is pictures taken a few years back when we went to see Rian before he left on his first deployment.
This is one of his buddies he met at boot camp and later ended up at the same base.He was shipped out before Rian.

Pay it forward.and I love my gift Noelle!

I was so happy when my husband came in with a box in his hand. He thought I had prdered something else lol. Nope not this time=) it was a special package from a very special friend.
I first met Noelles mom as both of our sons were AF guys. Not long after I met Noelle and her beautiful family. She is a special girl....go visit her at http://futuremrsk.blogspot.com/
She is also having a ornemant swap so you maybe excited to get in on this.
So what is "Pay it forward?" If you wanna play then be one of the first three to tell me on my blog,BUT be sure you are willing to do this for three other lucky people. Yes you will need to blog your package and then offer to pay it forward to three others. It isn't about spending tons of money it is about sending a friend something that is special to them and you.
SO if you wanna play be the FIRST three to let me know and then send your mailing address to momeason@gmail.com

Noelle said this rooster made her think of my kitchen...that meant so much. I have people I have know for my life and even family that has no idea what I like and have in my home. You are a sweet friend and im so blessed to have got to know you.

I think someone must knowme to darn well lol. I love trying new chocolate. One day I would like to say I have tried it from all over the world! It isn't just for the fact that I just love it,but being a cook I like to see how every where things are different.

One busy weekend.

It sure has been busy around here. I really don't think it has settled down any since Angel was born. I can really tell I have been up to much, but I can't stay away.
Friday I was going to sleep in and stay in bed.Chancey my son called and ask where I was and was I coming up. I really was gonna stay in bed and wait until the husband was home, but how could I say no.
I got up and got a bath and went to the hospital. Friday evening Kaytlynn was having a festival at her school and April has been so sick she needed help. Oh yea I haven't broke the news my daughter April is exspecting again! This will be three new grands in a row.
Brian and I rode out and helped her with the kids. The festival was good, but again I knew I was up to long. Kaytlynn came home with us to stay the night and go meet her new cousin the next morning.
Kaytlynn loves breakfast so Pepaw carried us to eat on our way to the hospital. It was very good and we had fun spending time together. It was also time for Jaydens visit so Pepaw picked him up and brought him to meet his new sister. The baby and mommy were discharged not long after so we all went home to rest.
I really feel I over did it and my head has been hurting two days. Today I am going to do the least I can and take this as a day of rest!

Kaytlynn went to the hospital with Nana and pepaw to meet her new cousin,

It was so sweet when Jayden came for his visit. He hadn't seen his daddy in awhile and he was so happy. He was so excited to meet his new baby sister.

Pepaw took us girls to eat breakfast before going to the hospital to see Angel.

Friday night Kaytlynn spent the night and she played with the puppy in the stoller.

An ANGEL is born

It has been ONE long day,but I couldn't go to bed with out showing you our
"ANGEL"
Angela Niikole Eason was born 11/6/2009
She weighed in at 8lbs and13 oz
21 1/2 inches long
Mommy and daddy checked in last night to get ready to induce because baby was late and just not worried about coming to this world.
This morning at 5am. we got up and ready to go and get our baby. I sure had no idea that 13 hours later we still wouldn't have one.
They hooked Mayra up about 6:30 to her IV and burst her water. Thirteen hours later she was only three cm.
Mommy and baby were worn out. Mayra was going to go all natural, but had to get
medication. The contractions really about stopped and the babies head was swollen trying so hard to come out. The doctor finally called it and decided
the baby couldn't take any more.
I am happy to say that mom and baby are fine!
This baby came here with cheeks that look like she has stored up food, four rolls on her leg and enough fat to keep her warm for a while. So healthy that we couldn't ask for more. She came here licking her lips looking for milk.
Mommy fed her own both teats and they were gonna give her a bottle she was still hungry.
I did chat with the doctor telling her thanks and she said that baby would have
NEVER came out of there. So im thankful for the doctors and how things have come so for. I would like to ask for prayer for a baby in the crib beside Angel.
He was not doing good at all and it brakes my heart to see what a blessing we had and see this baby fighting for his life.
I think I better get in bed or Nana will be no good=)
Will be back later with more photos.

She sure was a big one!

She was alittle upset after her shot

YEA I did something and you may wanna see

Aren't you so proud of me? I did something yesterday! I know the hubby was glad to get something to eat he didn't have to cook. I was too =) No, I really appreciate him so much he has been a God send.
Yesterday close to lunch I just made up my mind I had to do something. I told my hubby to get all my spices down and I would sit in a chair and go through them. I found many out of date,I'm sure they were okay, but I wanted fresh. I still have spices every where, because I had lots. I have an idea I would like to organize and do,but have to find the bottles.Oh well that will be another post.
As I sat in my kitchen I got to thinking I have wanted a creamy pie for a month. So all the recipes I have been collecting while laying up after my surgery came out. Oh yea Peanut butter pie,but we need real food too.I started getting things out with the help of my husband and in less than a hour we had our main coarse and dessert.A warm mug of Potato Bisque while we watched our movie and pie .What more could you ask for and Oh yea I had my bitty baby in my lap and a cat at my feet in my recliner.
I wanted to share these with you and hope you all enjoy and be sure and think of ME.
I love my blogging friends so much!

This is one of the simplest recipes you will find. Everything is bought and you put it all in a pan and heat.

Right after my surgery a man that works for my husband had brought a pot of this to work.I just wasn't eating and nothing tasted good so Brian brought a few bowls home. Wow I was shocked at the flavor and told Brian get that recipes. It didn't take a few minutes and I had it coming across the Internet.
I will say this is VERY rich. I can only eat a bowl and I'm done. It does make a big pot,but is good warmed.
I served mine over Frito's and then garnished with crumbled chips and cheese. This would make a meal for anyone and a salad would be great. I also think to garnish the dish with green onion would be beautiful.

Corn Bisque

3 cans of cream of potato soup (Campbell's)3 cans Mexican corn1 dry pack Taco mix1 cream cheese1 Large can Chicken broth2 Large cans Chicken1 16oz Velveeta( cubed)1 8oz sour cream1 jar of mushrooms (optional)Mix all over heat or in crock pot. This is a great fast and easy warm dish. It is pretty rich and is great with crackers or chips.

Mix ingredients, whip in the cool whip and chill. A yummy pie in no time at all.

This is a pie recipe I borrowed from The Pioneer Woman.PEANUT BUTTER and man is it rich and creamy. So easy to make and good when your in a hurry. I did use a bought crust just because I was trying to cut down on my work load. This would be great for a crowd, church or holidays. Just make in a 9x13 dish and be sure to double the pie...you will be the talk of the party!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
25 Oreos( I buy the Oreo crust unless you want to put in pretty pie plate)4 tablespoons butter, melted. Crush the Oreos until they’re fine crumbs. Pour melted butter over the top and stir with a fork to combine. Press into pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes, or until set.Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.Filling: 1 cup creamy peanut butter ( I did use crunchy and we love it)1 8-ounce package softened cream cheese1 1/4 cups powdered sugar1 8-ounce package Cool Whip, thawed .Beat the peanut butter with the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Add in the thawed Cool Whip and beat mixture until smooth, scraping the sides as needed. Pour filling into crust, evening out the top with a knife or spatula. Chill for at least an hour before serving. Garnishes(shaved Hershey bar)( Mini Reese's)

How could I say NO to this sweet thang?

This is "Eason Little TORO(bull)" He loves snuggling and loving. He really isn't for sale but he may have been on this day. He finally got married to his true love and brought something home I just couldn't say NO to.
Toro getting a bath from his sister Muffin.
Here is my present from Toro.
IM A NANA
Many of you will recall my little man "Toro". Well he got married a few months back to his pretty little Spanish fling "BeBe" They didn't waste any time until BeBe learned they would be parents. Oh no me a Nana? Yep. BeBe did real well and was a very good mom and about six weeks ago She and Toro became the proud parents of three girls...yes I said three. They all came out black like their father. Two of them look like Apple head and one like a Deer. Last week I learned from my daughter-in-law where BeBe and Toro stayed during my surgery that BeBe had stopped feeding the babies. I think their little teeth were so sharp they bit her. Mayra my daughter-in-law is past due herself so she sure didn't feel like taking care of all of them so?

How could I say no?

I just couldn't.
A few days ago my son came by and brought this sweet baby girl. She doesn't have a name yet...She is Spanish and black and I am just having a hard time. She is very prissy and looks like a baby bear and her name has to be PERFECT.

Im really picky, but will welcome all advice. I hope you love her first photo shoot as much I have. Im sure you will see more soon.

She really seemed to like her first photo shoot! She maybe small, but she has an attitude.

Do you have a MOUNTAIN in your life?

Do you have a MOUNTAIN in your life?
I think if we admit it we all have or had. This is something I haven't talked about because I don't bring the past up,but in this case it is for someone out there.
Mountain: what is it? to me a mountains are beautiful ,but I have always liked the top. I see a mountain I look up wow what beauty. I always hate how the trash, dirt and rock that is laying around the bottom when the rain has washed it down. Mountains can be rockey, very hard to climb. They can leave us scared and with out breath. It is no fun when our foot slips and we scratch our knee.Sometimes the simple scrapes hurt and burn for a long time.
I say all this to get to the point....Your mountain and the way we get to the top may be different.
The song here by the Crabb family came into my life at a time when I thought my life was over for good.
I met my husband 27 years ago in October and we married in June so this year we had been married 26 years.I think it has been about seven years ago now and I will not go into great detale only because it would be a book. Brian was working on the road alot sometimes three weeks out of the month. I had three teenagers and felt so alone. Not only was I missing my other half, but the leader of the home wasn't here. Brian had served God through most of our life, but at this time we weren't going to church. Brian worked out of town with one female and two men. One night I had about hit bottom I knew we were not number one in his life. I wrote a long email and im sure it was harsh. It is me are the road! In 1000 years I would have never thought it would be the road, but that was his reply. I was crushed and that would start months and months of heart break. This MOUNTAIN was to large and no matter how I talked and prayed I couldn't see the top. Seperation( though still in the house) from the one I knew God sent me left me empty, tired and so sick I couldn't even get up. I knew prayer was it,but I sure couldn't do it. As time went on I got stronger. The fight that this bull dog once had came back. I laid hands and prayed on any and every thing in my house. I would turn on the music and shoot at the devil..You are a liar! You came to kill, steal and destroy! I would not set back and allow him to divide this family God had gave me. One day someone told me about the Crabb family. I went right then and bought the CD and when this song came on "Theres no mountain for a climber" It hit me just like a light Jesus made the mountain just like he had my family and I had to stand! Oh im not gonna say it was easy at all,but I claimed the word and didn't look at my surroundings.
Many times if we look at the storm we will drown we have to see the rainbow.
That is all I had was Gods promises and today I stand here the happy wife and mom and now Nana.I have no idea your mountain, but Jesus does.It maybe a large one or just a hill, but remember God is the maker and he is in control.
If anyone that reads this needs prayer or has something going on they need to talk about I believe we go through things to help others. Im here anytime and you can email me at momea3@aol.com or momeason@gmail.com
